The Japanese can smell a good idea.
New sensors developed by scientists in Japan which detects allergens and dust are now believed to help some people avoid allergy headaches and sinus headaches. Just recently available in the US these sensors have been built into several air purifiers, triggering them to remove the detected allergens, pollen, dust along with mold and mildew.
My Sinus Allergy Headaches Are Gone
As one sinus allergy sufferer reported:
"My allergy headaches were relieved when I tried an air purifier with the sensors built in. I think that because goes on and off when it detects pollen and cleans the air before it hits my sinuses"
Saves Electricity
The other benefit to these 'smart sensors" is that by regulating the fan and air cleaners it will save money by reducing electrical use.
New Nanotechnology Air Purifier Tech Improves Disease prevention
One of the other technologies we've seen for allergy help is called "nanotechnology titanium Dioxide" or Tio2 as it is called. Tio2, when created on a metal grid and exposed to Ultraviolet Light, produces a light frequency which can kill germs, bacteria, viruses and other pathogens like mold and mildew.
YouTube Video Demonstrates the Technology
This YouTube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhfOC5JHE7U demonstrates the sensors in action. The idea is that once an allergen is detected the air purifier will automatically turn high or low, and will turn the right technology on or off to remove it from the air.
How To Maximize Allergy Sinus Headache Prevention
Perhaps a combination of these new allergen and dust sensors, combined with proven technology such as HEPA filters, will assist some people in greater headache prevention.
